How it works
The Solution

Introducing GivBack.
GivBack is collaborating with Auckland Council to explore this initiative further after Council’s initial Letter of Support.
GivBack is an independently governed Corporate Social Responsibility Partnership Fund.
It enables businesses to contribute directly to the operation and maintenance of Auckland’s community assets – while ensuring clarity, accountability, and public trust.
It is not a donation pool. It is a partnership platform.

How GivBack Works
GivBack is open, inclusive, and accessible.
Partners may participate as:
-
Founding Partners – organisations that lead from the outset.
-
Corporate Partners – businesses committing to visible community impact.
-
Professional Partners – firms contributing expertise and governance.
Participation is voluntary. Leadership is visible.

The platform for businesses that care publicly.

The GivBack Model

The GivBack Trust:
-
Receives and ring-fences all CSR contributions.
-
Transfers approved funding to Council for operational expenditure.
-
Invests in workforce development through the GivBack Training Academy.
GivBack Operations:
-
Manages partnerships, governance, reporting, and impact measurement.
-
Every contribution follows a transparent allocation framework:
-
80% – Direct support for community asset maintenance.
-
15% – Administration, governance, and reporting.
-
5% – Training and skills development.
Every dollar is visible. Every allocation is deliberate.
